SkyCall est un power trio de rock psychédélique du Grand Est. Le groupe réinterprète la liberté créative des années 1970 dans une approche fusion actuelle : guitare expressive, section rythmique organique, mélodies fortes, textures sonores et improvisation.
Reformé à l’été 2026, SkyCall développe une musique où composition et espace instrumental restent étroitement liés. Les morceaux alternent puissance, respiration, tension et profondeur mélodique, tout en laissant aux trois musiciens la liberté de faire évoluer la matière en temps réel.
Le projet associe désormais trois objectifs : enregistrer un album avec le trio actuel, construire une présence scénique cohérente et trouver des partenaires pour la production, la distribution, la presse, le booking et les festivals.
SkyCall is a psychedelic rock power trio from France’s Grand Est region. The band reimagines the creative freedom of the 1970s through a contemporary fusion approach built on expressive guitar, an organic rhythm section, strong melodies, sonic textures and improvisation.
Reformed in summer 2026, SkyCall creates music in which composition and instrumental space remain closely connected. The songs move between power and restraint, tension and melodic depth, while leaving the three musicians room to reshape the material in real time.
The project now has three connected goals: record an album with the present trio, build a coherent live identity and find partners for production, distribution, press, booking and festivals.
Guitariste, chanteur et moteur artistique de SkyCall. Son parcours passe par N’Kap Koulou, Tax Free et l’album Flashover, Absinthe Faubourg, puis le duo avec Sébastien Leimacher et l’album 61 Steps. Son jeu expressif est notamment nourri par Jimi Hendrix.
Bassiste depuis l’âge de 14 ans, Alain Wittische compte plus de 2 000 concerts et une vingtaine de CD enregistrés. Formé au jazz au CRR de Metz à partir de 2015, il obtient en 2024 un CEM de jazz en contrebasse. Son parcours traverse le blues rock avec Joy Fleming (1989–2016), le jazz rock avec French Kiss et la fusion avec Extensions 4tet, qu’il rejoint en 2019. Cette expérience de la scène et du studio nourrit le groove, la profondeur et la liberté d’improvisation de SkyCall.
Le parcours de Patrick Marcel mêle rock progressif, blues et jazz. Avec Synopsis, il enregistre deux albums et un 45 tours ; il joue également avec le Lorraine Big Band Jazz, Madison Blues, Falcons et Ticket to Blues. Il collabore avec Chris Beya, guitariste d’Atoll, et la chanteuse italienne Anna Marchese, entre enregistrements et concerts en France, en Allemagne et en Italie. Également enseignant de batterie et compositeur pour la danse, il apporte à SkyCall son expérience de la scène et du studio, ainsi que sa voix à l’occasion.
Guitarist, vocalist and SkyCall’s artistic driving force. His path includes N’Kap Koulou, Tax Free and the album Flashover, Absinthe Faubourg, and a duo with Sébastien Leimacher that released 61 Steps. His expressive playing is notably shaped by Jimi Hendrix.
A bassist since the age of 14, Alain Wittische has played more than 2,000 concerts and recorded around twenty CDs. He began studying jazz at the Metz regional conservatory in 2015 and earned a CEM certificate in jazz double bass in 2024. His career spans blues rock with Joy Fleming (1989–2016), jazz rock with French Kiss and fusion with Extensions 4tet, which he joined in 2019. This extensive stage and studio experience brings groove, depth and improvisational freedom to SkyCall.
Patrick Marcel’s career spans progressive rock, blues and jazz. He recorded two albums and a 7-inch single with Synopsis and has also played with Lorraine Big Band Jazz, Madison Blues, Falcons and Ticket to Blues. His collaborations include Chris Beya, guitarist with Atoll, and Italian singer Anna Marchese, with recordings and concerts in France, Germany and Italy. Also a drum teacher and a composer for dance, he brings his stage and studio experience to SkyCall, along with occasional vocals.

With around 500,000 cumulative Spotify streams, SkyCall’s catalogue has already established a solid audience. Tracks such as Time to Get Ahead, Are You Ready Now?, Dream on Mars, Wendy and Hope Is What You Need rank among the band’s most-streamed releases, demonstrating its potential with international listeners. This presence extends to YouTube through the band’s videos and to Instagram, where excerpts, Reels and updates are steadily expanding its visibility.
Le trio prépare le réenregistrement, avec la formation actuelle, des titres déjà présents sur les plateformes, complétés par de nouvelles compositions. L’objectif est de produire un album cohérent avec l’énergie du groupe d’aujourd’hui, pour une sortie numérique et une édition physique sur CD. Le calendrier n’est pas encore arrêté.

The trio is preparing to re-record material already available on streaming platforms with the present line-up, together with new compositions. The aim is to produce an album that reflects the energy of today’s band, for digital release and a physical CD edition. No release date has yet been set.
SkyCall is seeking partners for production, label services, distribution, press, management, booking, support slots and festivals in France and across Europe.
La formation actuelle a donné un concert VIP privé sur invitation, conçu comme un galop d’essai pour le nouveau trio. Il ne s’agissait pas d’une étape de tournée, mais d’une première mise en situation scénique permettant d’éprouver le répertoire et l’interaction entre les musiciens. Quatre vidéos ont été tirées de cette captation.
The current line-up played a private invitation-only VIP concert as a first live test for the new trio. It was not part of a tour, but an opportunity to test the repertoire and the interaction between the musicians in a real stage setting. Four live videos were produced from this recording.
